My dad's Camry had been sitting in the driveway for nearly a month while he was in Pakistan and when I finally tried starting it, nothing, not even a proper crank. I was ready to spend my Friday morning sorting it out but my brother messaged me saying just click here and book one of those doorstep battery guys, so I did it half expecting to be messed around. The technician turned up around 11, took one look at the battery, tested it with a proper meter and confirmed it was finished rather than the alternator being the issue, which was my actual worry. He had the replacement ready in his van, fitted it in about fifteen minutes and even took the old one away without me asking. Only thing I'd say is ask about the price beforehand because mine came to a bit more than I expected, though honestly for a Friday morning saved I'm not complaining. Curious if others paid similar or if I could have haggled.
