Where do you even buy a good battery without getting ripped off

Simple question but I have no idea where to start. My battery is on its way out and I need to replace it soon, but I don't know whether to go to a garage, a dedicated battery shop, or order online. Prices seem to vary a lot for what looks like the same thing, and I can't tell if there's a genuine difference or if I'm just being quoted randomly. I've seen Best Energizer car batteries in Dubai mentioned a few times, so I'm considering those, but I don't know where to buy them or how to make sure I'm getting a genuine one rather than a counterfeit. Any recommendations on where to go and what to look out for? I'd rather not end up with something that fails in a year.
